An Unlikely Pair – a Lesson for Us All

Now is a good time to turn to other species for inspiration. These fellow creatures personify what we humans can be when we return to kindness, decency, and love. Here is hoping that time is coming soon.

To all our friends, allies, adversaries, brothers, and sisters — to all persons near and far — I wish you a year of peace within and without. May we find our way back to holding — or at least shaking — hands with one another. If elephants and canines can do it, we homo sapiens, gifted with deposable thumbs, surely can too!
